WHAT WE BELIEVE
In light of the recent decisions at General Conference, we believe it is important to state where we stand:
We DO NOT support or condone the recent decisions of the United Methodist Church regarding the redefinition of marriage, the ordination of homosexuals, or the loosening of standards for clergy.
We DO NOT believe that the homosexual lifestyle agrees with Scripture, and to promote it goes against God’s Word.
We DO believe that God’s Word is clear and it is sufficient.
We DO support Israel.
We DO NOT support abortion.
We will vigorously oppose these efforts at every opportunity.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR:
First Methodist Church of Greenville is currently hiring for a Children’s Ministry Coordinator position for Pre-K through 6th grade. We are seeking to call or hire a warm, creative, and energetic leader who would help our children grow in faith through believing, belonging, and serving. This is a part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Applications can be picked up and submitted in the church office. YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR:
First Methodist Church of Greenville is currently hiring for a Youth Ministry Coordinator position for grades 7th-12th. We are seeking to call or hire a warm, creative, and energetic leader who would help our youth grow in faith through believing, belonging, and serving. The purpose is to implement, execute, and evaluate a youth ministry program that provides weekly opportunities for youth of the church 1) worship God, 2) grow in discipleship, and 3) be deployed to live the Christian faith in all aspects of their lives. This is a part-time position with a minimum of 25 hours per week. Applications can be picked up and submitted in the church office. MOTHER DAY OUT TEACHER/HELPER:
We are hiring MDO teachers for the 3-Day Summer Program during June & July. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. *Could potentially become a permanent position.
